How many times have we heard someone say, "Surround yourself with Light to protect yourself from unseen forces?" And how many books have we read written by Near Death Experiencers such as Dannion Brinkley, author of Saved by the Light, Betty Eadie, author of Embraced by the Light, Kimberly Clark Sharp, author of After the Light, and many others which describe encounters with an incredibly brilliant "Light?"   Over one million people in the United States have had a Near Death Experiences. And nearly 90% of them talk about seeing the "Light," or wanting to go into the "Light." So, I ask you, what exactly is this "Light?" Some have described it as God. Others claim it is Jesus Christ, and some say, an Angel of God. But, through my studies into this experience, I have found only Christians see Jesus Christ, Muslims see Mohammed, Buddhist see Buddha, and spiritualist see God. And, individuals who were atheist before their experience have seen "The Light."   You may have come to this page because you are seeking more information on Out of Body experiences, the paranormal, how to achieve an OBE, or validation for the OBE's you are already having. Either way you are open to esoteric subjects and what they may reveal. In my book Soul Traveler, I've described in as much detail as I possibly could, my "Out of Body Experiences." In these OBE's, I've had numerous encounters with nonphysical entities. Some have been deceased beings, others much, much more.   Robert Monroe describes in his book "Journeys Out of the Body" encounters with a being of "Light" so incredibly brilliant, he could hardly look at It. Robert dubbed this being of Light an Inspec, which stands for "Intelligent-Species." This Inspec is described as a nonphysical spirit, which is advanced far beyond it's human version. Or as Dannion Brinkley would say...A Powerful, Spiritual, Being.   Over the years, I have had repeated encounters with a nonphysical "Entity" which knows me better than I know myself. This is the first clue as to where I am headed. Most of us have been told at one time or another to turn your will or life over to a power greater than yourself.   A "Higher Power" or a "God" of your understanding. This Light I've seen and conversed with is brighter than a thousand stars. It is intelligent, all knowing, and loving beyond compare. During my first encounters, I was a little afraid. No, that's not true, I was very afraid. Even though I felt love unlike anything I've ever experienced while in the confines of this physical body. But, things have changed since then. After numerous encounters with this "Light Being" have I accepted it as my "Higher Self." And through these encounters I now understand who and what I really am, an earthly expression of a Larger Light. And this Larger Light is an expression of God, or All That Is.   And I must say, all of this conflicted with my religious upbringing! Not long ago, I decided to speak with Dannion Brinkley about my newly discovered understanding of who I am. I was relieved to discover Dannion's Near Death encounters with the "Light," brought him to the same conclusion. In essence, WE are the Light. Or moreover, we are the thing we pray to! I'm not saying we are God, but instead gods in the making.   I once heard a Near Death Experiencer echo the words of her Guide, Being of Light, Christ Within, Inspec, or whatever you want to call It. Her Guide said,..."The smaller "Light" follows the "Larger Light," and the Larger Light follows the "Source."   The bible says we were created in God's own image. So if God is the Light of Lights, then it makes sense that so are we, to a lesser degree. Sort of a chip off the Old Spark, you might say. This information amplified by my Out of Body Experiences has had a major impact on me, and has literally changed my life.   As long as I am this earthly expression, I know beyond a shadow of doubt, I will never be alone.
